It’s shocking how many failures are due to the lack of patience. It happens all the time, we run out of steam and get frustrated and because of that our passion suffers and so does our drive. And yet, a lot of success stories are ones that stuck with it and kept going for just a little longer.

Perfection isn’t a process, it is by definition a state of something being absolutely free from flaws. A perfect circle, a perfect square, a perfect score. Everything else is in the eye of the beholder, it isn’t worth chasing and it definitely isn’t the human condition. A master piece on the other hand is a process, it is experience and determination culminating into something wonderful.

I suppose the only time I truly have fun is when I’m confident in whatever I’m doing, of course the rest is just a learning experience until I reach that level. I guess in the end it doesn’t matter how talented, or skilled or “gifted” we may be, if we cannot swallow our pride, and work on our attitude we are going nowhere. Life is a team sport, and while the things we do may not be, it is important to consider that people are responsible for spreading our work.

Something truly important that many of us tend to forget is that the only person that we will be with our whole lives, from morning to night, from sleep to wake is ourselves. No one else comes close to that, and thus the life we live is the person we become and as long as we keep going and love ourselves the rest will flourish.
