Happy Friday everyone!
Welcome to another weekly round-up post from our growing community of bloggers, writers, vloggers, podcasters, and other fellow content creators. Each and every week we hand-pick five top posts from a pool of the highest voted user-submitted/created posts in the community and include them in this weekly round-up blog post, along with the newsletter for all of our e-mail subscribers.
Here are this week’s (Oct 13 – Oct 19, 2018) most valuable posts from the /t/BES content creators community:
1. Patience and Fearlessness Make You Unbeatable
This is some of the greatest advice that I could offer to people in their 20s. Please, let this be the one “motivational” video that pushes you to take a leap and take extra risk because if you don’t do it, you’ll regret it.
Rhythm in Web Typography
Rhythm in typography is just like rhythm in music. A text can either flow like a masterpiece symphony performed by an in-tune orchestra, or it can be a disjointed flimsy song by a one-man band wannabe.
3. Here’s My Secret Weapon: I Read
Success depends on the knowledge that we can gain and use. What we call following our gut, is really us being subconsciously guided by information we’ve consumed, shaping our instincts and ideas and forming us.
4. How to Write Innovative and Competitive Longform Content
In the early days of the internet, great content was pretty easy to find, and the creators of it were rewarded. As with all things, the market was eventually flooded by every bad writer and their dog who wanted a piece.
5. Popular Vietnamese Blogger Mother Mushroom Released
Nguyen Ngoc Nhu Quynh is a blogger of environmental and social issues who was jailed in June 2017 on the charge of conducting propaganda against the state. She had previously been sentenced to 10 years in prison.
That’s all folks! You can view all the rest of the community’s top submissions (9 more) here.
Tune in next Friday for another great weekend reading list that will make you a better and more informed blogger, writer, and/or content creator! If you have anything awesome to submit that others might enjoy, feel free to do so!
And don’t forget to help other fellow bloggers find this nifty resource by sharing it around! Thanks!
